Inital Planning: This is the time we spend aligning our brilliant teaching ideas for kids to our client’s specific curriculum objectives. We want to ensure our product will be a 100% fit to the curriculum we are designing it for. Our philosophy is that the resource will serve the students by serving the teacher, by serving the ministry or institution.
Project Development: During the weeks of draft writing, editing, rewriting, and graphic design that lead us to the final manuscript, Rogue Media Inc. in house team leader will be monitoring the timelines and providing support to anyone who needs it. Ongoing communication with our client keeps the vision of the resource clear and we believe we are all partners creating great things for teachers and students to use.
Quality Review: Keeping the profile of the student in mind, careful adjustments like reading level, age appropriateness, inclusion of minorities, cultural sensitivity, gender bias, white space, helpful reading cues, visual appeal and more, are all fine tuned.
Fieldtesting: Does it do what we hoped???? This is a great opportunity before final editing to test the resource in the classroom and receive constructive feedback from teachers and students. Rogue Media Inc. provides pre-published material for an assigned period of time, and stays in regular contact with the piloting teacher.
Final Editing: The final electronic files are perfect and ready to be published in their final form. Will it be a hardcover text or online delivery?
Sales and Marketing: We maintain our connection to the market place because we can help the schools and teachers put their fingers on the right resource to meet their curriculum needs. Who knows the product better than us? In order to facilitate awareness of new resources and support in using them, Rogue Media Inc. also provides regional in-service and workshops for teachers on the product. We bring the Tostitos. Schools who are evaluating resources for classroom use, may also receive complimentary copies of our resources.
